Staff Accountant II

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant II to join the team in the Boise, e. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly closing processes, and supporting project-related accounting activities.

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Support project accounting, including cost tracking, invoicing, and revenue recognition
• Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist with payroll entries and expense reporting
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards
• Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to support financial needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and project-based accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or working toward certification a plus

• Pay Range: $30 - $38 hr.
