Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our client’s day-to-day financial operations. This role will assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and general accounting functions using ADP and Quick Books. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting using ADP.
• Support bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in Quick Books.
• Help maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Generate basic financial reports as requested (e.g., expense reports, payroll summaries).
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and maintain compliance with financial policies.
• Assist with onboarding-related financial tasks, such as setting up payroll and tax accounts for new hires.
• Communicate with vendors, employees, and stakeholders regarding payment status or payroll matters, as needed.

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll support.
• Hands-on experience with Quick Books and ADP required.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
