Billing Specialist
Remote within the United States | Full-time | Associate-level
The role requires close attention to invoice details and steady communication about customer account questions.
Responsibilities- Flag overdue balances for the appropriate follow-up process.
- Check that required customer details and payment terms appear on invoices.
- Communicate unresolved invoice items and documented next steps clearly.
- Enter incoming payments and update customer balances accurately.
- Record billing adjustments after obtaining the necessary authorization.
- Run routine billing summaries and exception reports.
