Gem State Staffing is seeking a Finance Assistant for a local nonprofit organization. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to join a mission-driven organization and build a long-term career. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, Quick Books experience, and a solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general finance functions.
Position DetailsPay: $60,000 per year
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily accounting and finance functions
- Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Utilize Quick Books for financial and accounting tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with general bookkeeping and finance duties
- Proficient in Quick Books
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Strong Microsoft Office/Microsoft applications proficiency
- General computer literacy and strong technical skills
- Understanding of general finance and accounting functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Must successfully pass a drug test
- Must successfully pass a fingerprint-based background check
