Role:
Director of Procurement Excellence leads the design and implementation of an AI-native Change Management Center of Excellence (CM CoE) to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of strategic procurement initiatives at Bristol Myers Squibb. Responsibilities include developing change strategies, prioritizing initiatives based on risk and impact, overseeing governance and reporting practices, and building global team capabilities with AI tools like Claude.
The role also involves partnering with senior leadership to define procurement strategy, facilitating leadership alignment forums, and translating innovative ideas into tangible business value through special projects. The position requires establishing governance frameworks, KPIs, and risk management practices across procurement portfolios, with continuous process improvement.
minimum bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, or related field; 10+ years in change management, transformation, or strategic communication; at least 5 years in leadership roles, with experience developing governance and PMO capabilities.
Preferred skillschange management certification (e.g., Prosci), project management certification (e.g., PMP), executive presence, and experience working with AI tools.
