Construction Services Manager
Location: Boise or Pocatello,

Role Overview: The Construction Services Manager will serve as the owner’s representative overseeing field work performed by contractors and subcontractors. Responsibilities include contract administration, maintaining compliance with plans and specifications, coordinating with the client and contractor, managing construction schedules, and supervising DEA construction staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage contractor conformance to plans and specifications
- Conduct contract administration functions
- Proactively identify issues in documents and activities and work to resolve them
- Act as lead for other construction inspectors when needed
- Interpret contract plans and specifications for roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance
- Represent the client in communications with the contractor, public, and other interested parties
- Prepare construction schedules for design projects
- Perform constructability reviews during project design
- Assist in preparing design projects for construction
- Oversee and manage DEA construction staff
- Heavy construction experience with highways, bridges, paving, and utilities
- Knowledge of Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Standard Specifications for Highway Construction
- ITD contract administration and inspection experience preferred
- Experience with administration of Federal‑aid contracts
- 5+ years of construction experience on roadway, bridge, rail, and highway projects preferred
- Acquire and maintain ITD inspector certifications within 6 months
- Clean driving record
- Available to work out of town when needed
- ITD inspection experience and ITD inspector certifications
- ODOT and WSDOT certifications considered
- Experience with Project Wise and AASHTOWare
