Osborne Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee on-site commercial construction projects across multiple states. As a Traveling Superintendent, you ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader for commercial construction projects across multiple states. Osborne is a national contractor operating in more than 40 states, so this role requires regular travel with multi-day stays depending on project location. You ll oversee jobsite operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and with quality. Lodging and travel-related expenses are provided.

Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and working in a fast-paced, field-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to Osborne standards
  • Communicate regularly with remote project managers and support staff
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and project documentation
  • Uphold strict safety protocols and address on-site issues as needed
  • Represent Osborne professionally with clients, vendors, and trade partners
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in commercial construction
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for 2-4 weeks at a time (longer if preferred).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams or basic construction management software
