The Assistant Project Manager Internshipwillbeworkingwiththeprojectteamandadjacentdepartments ,providingahighlevelofcoordinationsupportinavarietyofareas,partneringwithconstructionprojectmanagementandfieldstaff.
Dutiesandresponsibilities:
- Assistwithmanagingallaspectsofprojectdocumentationincludingsubmittals,RFIsandprojectmeetingminutes.
- AssistwithsupervisionanddirectingprojectactivitiesasassignedbythePMincludingplanningandcoordinating,circumventing/resolvingproblemareas,ensuringallcompany/project policies,proceduresandstandardsaremaintained,etc.
- Assistwiththemaintenanceofallchangeorder,submittalanddocumentcontrollogswithin
Viewpoint. - AssistPMandPXwithinteractionswithsubcontractorstomakecertainthatwehaveobtainedthecorrectdocumentationanddrawingforthe Ownerand Maintenance Manuals .
- Responsibleforcreatingthe Job Information Sheetsandestablishingjobfilesunderthedirectionofthe PMorPX.
- AssumetemporarytotalprojectsupervisionresponsibilitiesintheabsenceofthePM.
- Abletoreadandbasicunderstandingofelectricaldrawingsandspecifications.
- Assistwithestablishingworkflowbreakdownsinconjunctionwith Field Supervisors and Project Managers .
- Assistwithensuringprojectbillingsareaccurateandsubmittedtimely,monthly,andpercontractdocuments.
- ResponsibleforassistinginwritingandsubmissionofqualityRFIs.
- ResponsibleforassistingPMtoensuretimelypaymenttosubcontractorsandvendors.
- AbletoreviewandupdatestatusofconstructionschedulesasperrequestofPMorPX.
- Abletoassist Project Managementteamwiththesetupofprojectbudgetsin Viewpointinconjunctionwith Field Supervisor .
- Workwith Payrolldepartmenttoensureaccurate Payrollinformationhasbeensubmitted .
- Otherdutiesasassigned.
Proficiencyatanintermediateleverwithcomputerskills–Excel,Word,andrelatedPCskills
Driver’slicense,cleandrivingrecordrequired
Strongmathandorganizationalskills
Excellent people,communication skills
Haveahighdegreeofaccuracyandattentiontodetailwiththeabilitytomultitask
