Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to work full-time at its Bown Crossing clinic on the east side of Boise. The Bown Crossing clinic is only 6 years old and sits next to a library, an elementary school, and is within walking distance of Boise’s beautiful greenbelt and foothills.

At the Bown Crossing clinic, our team is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients to include birth to end of life. This position does not include OB care. The physician who joins this team will be assuming an established practice from a retiring physician, with room to grow the panel.

We utilize EPIC EHR, and you can count on resources to ensure your days run smoothly and your patients receive the best care: 1:1 Medical Assistants, team nurses, population health support and referral resources.

Other services at this practice location include Urgent Care, and on-site digital x-ray and laboratory services, as well as STARS Physical Therapy.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program;
• Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
  ;
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases;
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.

Traditional work week, 34 patient contact hours per week, 4-day work week available, reduced FTE available depending on physician preference
