Senior PVD/CVD Process Engineer – Micron Technology – Boise,
Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. We are investing $15 billion to build the next generation of DRAM manufacturing in Boise, our expansion team as a Senior Process Engineer in PVD/CVD to develop, optimize, and scale semiconductor processes that deliver high quality, high yield, and lower cost products.
Responsibilities- Own start‑up, design, and optimization of PVD/CVD processes for DRAM manufacturing.
- Identify and resolve equipment and process issues that affect production yield, defectivity, and cost.
- Collaborate with equipment integration, process integration, and multi‑functional teams to close yield gaps and improve SPC charts.
- Use project management skills to meet project milestones and deliver yield, defect, production, and cost improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement across all SPC charts and yield metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner in PVD/CVD.
- BS or Masters in Engineering (equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years industry experience).
- Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a meticulous approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in data science and programming skills.
