DIRECT HIRE | CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER [Idaho] Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting calculations and analyses to support the design of prefabricated structures. This will involve using advanced engineering techniques and software to evaluate the strength and stability of these structures, as well as ensuring that they meet all relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities- Conduct calculations and analyses to support the design of prefabricated structures.
- Use engineering techniques and software to evaluate strength and stability of structures.
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Estimating, Production, and other teams as needed.
- Open to candidates with varying levels of licensure:
Licensed Engineer (PE/CE/SE) preferred; EIT considered with intent to pursue PE; open to BSME with solid structural experience. - Experience with Structural Calculations, steel and wood analysis, and component calculations (roofing, sheathing, fasteners, etc.).
- Experience with building construction design and basic related MEP elements.
- Software experience:
Excel, CAD (for mark-ups), RISA and/or similar structural design tools. - Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with prefabricated buildings and structures; knowledge of pre-engineered systems; experience with integrated steel chassis is a plus.
- Experience with wood, steel, or hybrid construction.
- Anticipated salary: $110K-$140K, dependent on experience.
