Facilities Capacity Planning Engineer – Micron Technology

Responsibilities- Develop and drive an efficient strategic plan for Facilities Systems capacities.
- Lead projects to ensure deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Supervise actions and provide a customer concern path or resources to ensure actions are completed on time.
- Define and lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects of critical importance to the company.
- Collaborate with partners on the design and coordination of projects.
- Prepare project scope and ensure vital guidance from appropriate collaborators.
- Ensure that scope meets requestor needs and collaborate with consultants to identify improvement areas.
- Provide support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approval.
- Work with personnel to address problems or make corrections.
- Support equipment startup and commissioning.
- Help shape strategic decisions and provide technical support.
- Supervise engineering capacity and load data to ensure all items are accounted for and planned.
- Analyze systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings.
- Assist in providing metrics for cost, capacity, performance reports, and trending and forecasting with comparisons to recognized industry standards.
- Build and maintain models of planned or forecasted increases in system capacities, end‑of‑life replacements, and space modifications.
- Provide consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other departments/sites.
- Provide engineering support for mid‑ to long‑term infrastructure planning for facilities.
- Work with Manufacturing on excursion root‑cause identification, elimination, and prevention.
- Ensure safety is considered in all aspects of design, enhancement, modification and process.
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, including PPE, lockout/tagout and chemical safety.
- Follow up on safety and quality related issues immediately and work toward resolution with stakeholders.
- Participate in the EHS program by reporting all EHS‑related concerns or problems immediately.
- Reduce potential hazards that may impact personnel health or the environment.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce fab impacts, improve efficiency, and identify cost savings.
- Present complex trends and findings in clear and actionable visual formats for stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns by providing a clear path of resources or actions to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships across departments to align goals and ensure seamless collaboration.
May telecommute part‑time.
Qualifications- Data Analysis, including Excel and Tableau.
- Data visualization, including Tableau.
- Data collection, including SQL.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Space management in support of manufacturing and support areas to plan facilities capacities.
