Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer – Boise,
Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. Micron is investing $15 billion to build a new semiconductor manufacturing facility in Boise. We are looking for passionate professionals to join this expansion team.
Responsibilities- Start up, develop, and optimize dry etch processes to improve product quality.
- Drive process yield improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.
- Collaborate with equipment, integration, and production teams to resolve line issues.
- Use project management skills to meet milestones that close yield, defectivity, production, and cost gaps.
- Drive improvements across all SPC charts that you own.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner within Dry Etch.
- B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field, or equivalent military experience.
- Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
- Proficient in data science and programming skills.
