Facilities Engineer I, Facilities – Photronics

Photronics Inc., a leading photomask supplier established in 1969, seeks an experienced Facilities Engineer to support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facility. The position provides on‑the‑job training and requires a DOD Secret Clearance.

• Develop criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
• Work to maintain facility assets on a day‑to‑day basis and as systems demand.
• Respond and address site facility alarms and failures.
• Work and plan plant, office, & production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum use of facilities and equipment.
• Review installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs for asset installation and relocations.
• Assist in plant, office, and production equipment installation and rearrangement projects and work with outside trades.
• Willing to learn other trades of facility maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Maintain State of Idaho Division of Building Safety HVAC Journeyman License.
• Maintain EPA Universal Refrigerant certification.
• Maintain all refrigerated systems site‑wide.
• Requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant semiconductor facilities or 6 years of operations experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Class 3 or 10 clean room experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in HVAC, compressors, UPW systems, boilers, heat exchangers, SCADA, fire, pneumatic, liquid and gas plumbing.
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic control systems.
• Broad knowledge of facility systems, methods, principles, and technologies.
• Experience in new tool evaluations, tool design, modifications, and system‑level engineering is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
• Proficiency in PC hardware/software and Microsoft Office—Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint—and other applications such as SPC, Internet Explorer.
• Willingness to become ERT certified.
