As a Yield Analysis PFA Lead Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management, and resolving manufacturing line problems. This position oversees failure analysis activities, implements equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies and yields, and serves as an engineering liaison with internal customers.

Responsibilities

and Tasks
  • Effectively manage daily failure analysis to meet production, process, and quality requirements.
  • Work with shift engineers to identify and deploy best known methods, keeping shifts aligned while progressing lab efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain an effective training program; provide active leadership to drive the group to higher levels of proficiency and ensure reports receive adequate development, coaching and growth opportunities.
  • Mentor engineers in delegating tasks to achieve the desired results.
  • Define business process goals and key performance indicators and monitor them periodically to support organization goals and needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of direct semiconductor PFA lead engineer experience, with technical leadership and contributing to failure analysis activities using MBPS and root cause delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in material science, chemical engineering or related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience building and developing new failure analysis teams.
