Field Service Engineer Responsibilities

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Your work supports the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

• Report into the Site Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems; diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

• 1-3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum; ideally with customer-facing experience.
• Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and time frames, while working in alignment with company strategies and processes.
• Self-directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems aligned with job responsibilities and to elevate through the appropriate channels when required.
• Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand customer’s business.
• Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge, and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
• Collaborates and supports team members to deliver company objectives.
• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards to ensure organizational, safety, and health obligations are met.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work, e.g., technical drawings.
