Mid-Level Underground Line Drafter

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Hailey,  Boise, e.

• Work with underground transmission line engineers and drafters to complete construction drawings for underground transmission lines including plan and profile drawings, detail drawings, cover sheet, and notes.
• Perform quality assurance checks on construction drawings.
• Collaborate in both in-person meetings and virtual conference calls.
• Organize projects and their subsequent files and documents in Project Wise.
• Experience opportunities can include field visits and coordination with contractors and clients.

• Associate degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree).
• Strong experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Micro Station.
• Experience with drawing creation for Power Delivery (transmission, substation, distribution).

• 3 or more years drafting experience with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems.
• Experience interpreting surveys.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
