Job Description

Roles include performing intermediate test engineering tasks under the direction of Test Engineering, supporting test station and test procedure development, and assisting with test station build support and development of testing procedures to improve test efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities also include maintaining and improving test documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards; maintaining and improving test solutions to ensure manufacturability and alignment with product specifications; contributing to troubleshooting and calibration of test equipment to enhance precision and reliability of test results; coordinating with production teams to develop and refine testing procedures and protocols to ensure comprehensive coverage and reliable test results;

occasionally supporting production to resolve difficult debug escalations.

Required knowledge includes working knowledge of test executables, test stands, functional test systems and LabVIEW, and the ability to analyze test data, identify patterns, and recommend process improvements. The role also involves analyzing electronic and electromechanical assemblies to determine causes of product defects (including circuit analysis, part identification, and replacement of defective components to bring the product into specification) and analyzing defective components to determine failure causes and provide reports for Engineering and Supply Chain corrective action.

Read wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
