The EHS Engineer will support regulatory and industry health and safety requirements while balancing operational, personnel, and business needs in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Champion workplace safety through leadership, communication, and training.
- Conduct EHS training (respiratory, fall protection, hazard communication, ergonomics).
- Perform ergonomic evaluations and industrial hygiene risk assessments.
- Apply OSHA, NFPA, NEC, SEMI, and ANSI standards.
- Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis.
- Lead site safety committee meetings and manage corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and best known methods (BKMs).
- Provide safety coaching to employees and leadership.
- 5+ years of EHS experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, industrial hygiene, safety, or related field.
- Semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- CSP, CIH, CHMM, or CPE certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
