As a Product Architecture Engineer focused on Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI), you will define the electrical architecture that enables next-generation DRAM products. This highly visible role combines deep technical expertise with system-level thinking to influence product roadmaps, guide design decisions, and partner with industry-leading ecosystem stakeholders. Your work will help deliver memory solutions that power tomorrow's AI and high-performance computing platforms.
** Responsibilities:
*** Lead SI/PI architecture pathfinding for next-generation DRAM products across AI, data center, and client platforms
* Define channel, package, board, and module-level SI/PI requirements and design targets for product development
* Evaluate DDR and LPDDR electrical performance, including timing, jitter, signal margin, crosstalk, impedance, reflections, and power delivery behavior
* Develop and apply modeling, simulation, and correlation methodologies using industry-standard EDA tools and validation data
* Partner across design, validation, package, module, and system teams to drive architecture decisions and resolve cross-functional tradeoffs

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
* 12+ years of experience in SI/PI modeling, analysis, and design guidance for high-speed digital systems
* Strong expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, electromagnetics, transmission lines, channel analysis, I/O design, and power delivery networks
* Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Synopsys HSPICE, or similar circuit modeling environments
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex electrical analysis into architecture recommendations and design tradeoffs

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** 15+ years of experience in advanced SI/PI architecture, modeling, or power delivery network design
* Expertise with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, LPDDR, HBM, PCIe, UCIe, SERDES, or related technologies
* Experience with advanced EDA tools including ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, Cadence PowerSI, PowerDC, or equivalent solutions
* Experience with DRAM modules, RCD-DRAM interfaces, or module-based memory architectures
* Experience working with Agentic AI tools to assist with design and verification

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$ - $ a year Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
