Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AWS/Azure) to support a company focused on building and securing enterprise cloud infrastructure and cloud-native security solutions. This position is fully remote

Responsibilities for the Senior Cloud Security Engineer include:

Design, implement, and secure AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure based on conceptual architecture diagrams.
Build and maintain shared infrastructure services, including WAF-as-a-Service solutions utilizing Barracuda WAF, along with supporting load balancers, NAT gateways, VPCs, networking, and subnet architectures.
Review cloud architecture designs to identify security misconfigurations, IAM/service principal issues, and cross-account access risks.
Investigate and triage security findings from Wiz and Cycode, providing remediation recommendations and guidance to engineering teams.
Develop and support complex serverless architectures and automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

Required Qualifications for the Senior Cloud Security Engineer include:

5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and securing AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Experience with Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, AWS Code Build, Git Hub Runners, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
Experience deploying, managing, and securing Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions, preferably Barracuda WAF, in enterprise cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, service principals, cross-account access management, vulnerability remediation, and architecture reviews.
Proven ability to independently design and deploy new cloud infrastructure without established patterns or step-by-step direction.
No clearance required.

Compensation for the Senior Cloud Security Engineer include:

Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
