- Relevant marine engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification/experience.
- Previous experience in marine engineering, vessel technical management or a Technical Superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance and engineering systems.
- Passenger vessel or river cruise experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel to vessels and operational locations as required.
- Portuguese and English language skills mandatory.
- Represent the company values and visions
- Ensure a professional and courteous service while managing the daily operations
- Implement and maintain company standards and operating procedures
- Oversee the technical condition and performance of assigned vessels.
- Coordinate planned, preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor technical defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Support vessel inspections, certification and technical compliance.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.
- Support dry-dock, repair and maintenance projects.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation and records.
- Support technical budgeting and cost control.
- Provide technical support to Captains and onboard teams.
- Work closely with Nautical and Operations teams to minimise operational disruption
