About the Role
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team in the perimeter security industry. This role is responsible for producing and maintaining financial reporting that will drive strategy. Specific responsibilities include building and maintaining the following in-system dashboards in Power
BI as well as financial reporting in Excel. Additionally, this individual will be tasked with performing ad hoc analyses for the executive team and will drive the budgeting process. The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner closely with the executive team, sales leaders, and operations leaders to produce reporting that drives management decisions.
- Maintain and improve the company’s existing in-system sales, operations, and accounting Power
BI dashboards
- Produce and maintain accurate and timely financial reporting that helps drive management decisions, including but not limited to the following :
- Operating financial model
- Actual vs. Budget reporting
- P&L trending analyses
- Weekly executive / board-level scorecard
- 13-week cash flow forecast
- Monthly operating review
- Work with executive leadership and key sales & operations business leaders to build annual budget
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights that will help drive growth and increased profitability
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred but not required).
- 4-6 years in FP&A (Private Equity backed business preferred), Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
- Demonstrated understanding of Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Acumatica) and dashboard tools (preferably Power
BI) - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- CPA or CFA.
- Background in service and install based businesses.
- Hard-working and proactive problem solver
- Detail oriented and analytical while able to step back, think strategically, and see the big picture
- Strong cross-functional communication skills (need to interface effectively with executive team, accounting, operations, sales, HR, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
