Overview of the Position
The U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services Office for the District of Idaho is accepting applications for the position of U.S. Probation Officer. It is anticipated that this position will serve as a Supervision Officer in our Boise office. All probation officers are responsible for providing meaningful assistance to the court in its deliberations and decisions concerning criminal offenders, and ensuring public safety through the monitoring and supervision of offenders placed under supervision by the court, the U.S. Parole Commission or military authorities.
