Overview

Join to apply for the Cytotechnologist role at Trinity Health in Boise,  position is full‑time and day‑shift with flexible daytime hours. Salary ranges from $72,675 to $101,732 per year.

• Perform a diversity of examinations in cytopathological diagnosis with independent judgement.
• Maintain accuracy of patient identification and proper labeling of all slides.
• Accurately report and document all routine, negative, normal and non‑negative or abnormal findings on gynecological specimens according to regulatory guidelines.
• Manage a recommended volume of 8,000–9,000 gynecological cases and 800–1,000 non‑gynecological specimens per full‑time cytotechnologist.
• Design, evaluate and implement new methods and develop and maintain departmental procedure manuals.

• Bachelor of Science degree and 12 months of training in an accredited school of cytotechnology; or successful completion of at least 60 semester hours in an accredited college or university with the required biological sciences and cytotechnology training.
