Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to patients by applying advanced physics principles in clinical settings. This role requires expertise in treatment planning systems, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, verify, and optimize radiation treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and dosimetrists.
- Perform routine and annual quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain imaging and treatment devices to ensure accurate dose delivery.
- Implement and monitor radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, ARIA Rad Onc, and shared drive systems (CTC-Rad Onc).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for radiation oncology software and hardware.
- Stay current with industry standards and participate in continuing education and research initiatives.
Certification: American Board of Radiology (A ) in Medical Physics.
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related field.
Experience- Proficiency with EPIC and ARIA Rad Onc systems.
- Familiarity with shared drive systems for radiation oncology documentation.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety regulations and treatment planning systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities and treatment techniques (IMRT, VMAT, SBRT).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
