Role
Support external scientific engagement as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL in biotech, focusing on autoimmune diseases and cell therapy.
Responsibilities- building relationships with KOLs, investigators, and treatment centers
- developing territory-specific medical strategies
- supporting clinical trial identification, investigator engagement, and trial feasibility
- capturing and communicating medical insights to internal teams
- representing the company at scientific forums
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, etc.)
- for MSL, 3+ years Medical Affairs experience (or 2+ years for Senior MSL) with background in cell therapy, immunology, or related fields
- strong understanding of clinical trial design, medical affairs functions, and autoimmune/cell therapy landscapes
- autoimmune diseases
- cell therapy (CAR-T)
- clinical-stage biotech
- investigator-sponsored research
- extensive travel (~50-70%)
- remote in MI, OH, Western PA, Upstate NY, KY
Collaboration spans Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and Patient Services teams.
AdditionalThe role emphasizes scientific expertise, relationship-building, and operational knowledge of cell therapy workflows.
