Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Generalist / Talent Management, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
The Employee Experience Specialist supports new hires across the country and help deliver a smooth onboarding experience. This role will coordinate pre-hire requirements, track background screenings, maintain accurate records, and serve as a resource for new hires by answering questions and helping resolve onboarding needs.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and complete new hire onboarding in Workday, ensuring all information and required steps are accurate and completed timely.
- Manage pre-employment screening requirements through completion, including background checks, MVRs, and drug screenings.
- Monitor onboarding activity and follow up on outstanding items to ensure new hires are ready for their first day.
- Serve as a resource for new hires, responding to questions and helping resolve onboarding-related needs.
- Support a positive and consistent employee experience throughout the onboarding process by providing timely communication, guidance, and support to new hires.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Workday and other HR systems.
- Communicate and partner with hiring leaders, new hires, recruiters, and People Operations to support a seamless onboarding experience.
- Monitor and action onboarding items and requests in Workday, ensuring issues are addressed and escalated as needed.
- Track hiring and onboarding metrics and provide reporting and administrative support based on business and regional needs.
- Identify and communicate onboarding issues or process gaps and partner with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
- Identify onboarding and employee experience opportunities and partner with the appropriate teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, employee onboarding, or a related field.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience building effective working relationships and collaborate with Recruiting, People Operations, hiring leaders, and new hires.
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems, with experience working in Workday preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide responsive and professional support to new hires and internal partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information.
