Location:
-Corporate Boise HQ, 1111 W Jefferson St, Boise, , USA
- Pay or shift range: $89,100 - $133,700 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for People Soft FSCM.
- Implement, maintain, and support People Soft FSCM to enable business operations for Finance teams.
- Manage software integration, including developing internal and external interfaces/APIs.
- Develop People Code fixes for defects and new customizations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and interfaces.
- Collaborate with users to support business applications and define solutions aligned with business strategies.
- Produce technical specifications based on business requirements.
- Integrate applications with existing file‑based integration processes and systems.
- Develop and apply skills on all People Soft tools such as People Code, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, XML Publisher, SQR, and nVision.
- Configure third‑party software to fulfill business needs.
- Debug and test system functionality to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimize software performance, capacity, and resource usage.
- Partner with business users to resolve operational and system‑related issues.
- Act as a liaison to the third‑party software vendor.
- Lead project teams for new or updated application implementations as needed.
- Train business users on new/modified system features.
- Oversee change management for third‑party software, including tracking issues, reviewing enhancement requests, and implementing, testing, and communicating software upgrades and patches.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to corporate values of safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience in the field.
- Experience creating and executing SQL database queries in Oracle, DB2, or MSSQL.
- Experience testing or troubleshooting system issues.
- Expert level knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Proficient in software development for Oracle People Soft with expertise in REST, API, and Web Service interfaces.
- Experienced in root cause analysis of People Soft FSCM production system issues.
- Experienced in relational database design and management techniques.
- Qualifications in supporting production processes for Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and other financial functions.
- Skilled in using code version control systems, such as Git Hub or Subversion.
- Familiarity with Oracle People Soft or IBM Maximo is advantageous.
- Finance ERP development experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, or related project and program management frameworks.
