Systems Analyst – St. Luke’s Health System
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, seeking a Systems Analyst to join our Epic Care Ambulatory application team.
Duties / Responsibilities- Build, configure, and program applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated software applications and systems.
- Implement new software applications and systems, perform upgrades consistent with project plans, technical specifications, and operations requirements of the health system, and provide proactive remediation of potential issues.
- Test and validate software applications and systems to ensure proper operation, implementation of software design and end‑user acceptance.
- Identify and diagnose issues that arise in the supported application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them. Assess severity of issues and prioritize responses as appropriate.
- Ensure documentation is provided for support, end‑user training and testing/validation. May provide implementation support with end users.
- May assist in developing project plans and details, applying principles of Project Management (including project schedules, agile principles, budget and status reports) to accomplish project objectives.
- Follow established protocols in the execution of all activities to ensure the safety and security of information system assets, processes, and data.
- Possess advanced knowledge of subject matter, handle complex issues and problems across multiple platforms, and refer only the most complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to others in acquiring knowledge and skill development.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Experience:
4 years of relevant experience. - Licenses/Certifications:
None.
- Certification in Epic Care Ambulatory or another Epic Clinical application.
