** Idaho Power (IPC) — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a
* Functional Analyst II

Responsibilities include:

* Configuring, administering, and supporting systems at an advanced level
* Performing comprehensive workflow and interface analyses to identify efficiencies and improvements
* Defining and documenting complex business requirements and processes with precision
* Translating business needs into technical specifications and effectively communicating them to technical teams
* Testing and implementing new processes and functionality to enhance system capabilities
* Troubleshooting and documenting system and user issues to ensure timely resolution
* Act as a liaison between Supply Chain and our IT departments

** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Education:

*** Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or field related to area supported
** OR
* ** An equivalent combination of education and IT or business operations experience
** Preferred:
*** Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or field related to area supported
*
* Experience:

*** 5 years of professional experience as an analyst in a related IT field or performing above duties in applicable system
** OR
* ** 5 years of IPC experience in related operational area and 2 years of experience in applicable system functionality
** Preferred:
*** Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or field related to area supported
* Experience with Zycus Procurement application, Hitachi
- Asset Suite software and Alemba Service Management application
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
** This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time.  It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
