The AI Capability Building & Literacy Lead is responsible for developing and implementing a robust learning strategy that equips Micron Team members to apply AI technologies efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This role extends beyond conventional training, fostering an ongoing culture of digital learning, establishing a network of AI advocates, and ensuring the integration of ethical AI principles throughout all educational programs.
Responsibilities- Design a Tiered Curriculum: Partner with Micron's People Team and Workforce Development teams to help establish a structured AI learning curriculum segmented by proficiency levels—Awareness, Practitioner, and Expert. This framework will clarify and keep relevant AI concepts and tools in a fast-evolving ecosystem. Promote a “Secure Yes” approach and accommodate the varying technical backgrounds of a global workforce.
- Create Role-Based Learning Paths: Help to develop targeted educational tracks tailored to specific job functions, enabling Team members and departments across business areas to apply AI solutions quickly and effectively within their operational contexts.
- Engage the Workforce: Facilitate workforce engagement through organized events such as hackathons, lunch-and-learns, informal discussion sessions, and AI demonstration sessions. Implement and sustain a network of AI Champions and Influencers to promote adoption and support peer learning across the organization.
- Measure and Refine: Define and monitor comprehensive training metrics, including behavioral change, adoption rates, and productivity impacts. Use these insights to optimize the curriculum and demonstrate program value to leadership.
- Integrate Ethics and Trust: Embed Micron’s principles of ethics, bias mitigation, and data privacy—into all training materials. Ensure team members are equipped to use AI tools both effectively and responsibly, in alignment with organizational policies and values.
- Experience: 5 years in learning and development, organizational change management, or technical training, with direct involvement in technology or AI-related training initiatives.
- Instructional Design: Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and facilitation. Proficiency with current AI concepts and tools is essential for developing effective training content.
- Commitment to Learning: Evident dedication to education and the advancement of technological adoption within the workforce.
- Analytical Orientation: Proven ability to assess training outcomes and leverage data and feedback to improve program efficiency.
- Proven track record in developing and accomplishing learning initiatives within large, globally dispersed organizations.
- Comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles, proficiency with digital learning technologies, and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Learning & Development, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline; equivalent industry experience considered.
