We’re looking for a Sr. Service Now Architect to join our team.

We are seeking a Senior Service Now Architect to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Service Now Architecture and Integration with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. This role will be instrumental in designing scalable and efficient solutions that drive IT operations, automation, and service delivery across the enterprise.

The Senior Service Now Architect reports to the Senior Director and Practice Leader. This role will be front‑and center in consulting engagements with Compucom's existing and potential new customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and high‑performing Service Now solutions across modules like ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Sec Ops, and custom applications.
  • Lead Service Now roadmap development and help define governance for platform usage.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.
  • Create and maintain architectural diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and admins on best practices.
  • Evaluate new features, plugins, and integrations and make recommendations for adoption.
  • Ensure platform security, compliance, performance, and scalability through proper design.
  • Oversee complex integrations with third‑party systems using APIs, MID servers, and Integration Hub.
  • Lead design review sessions and ensure development aligns with architectural standards.
  • Manage upgrades and ensure backward compatibility of customizations and integrations.
  • Collaborate with Service Now product managers, business analysts, and enterprise architects.
  • Face off with Account Teams on technical matters related to Service Now.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience working with Service Now, including at least 3 years as an Architect.
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module – ITSM or ITOM, (HRSD not applicable at this time.).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes.
  • Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within Service Now (e.g., Predictive Intelligence).
  • Proven experience with Service Now application development, scripting, and workflows.
  • Experience designing and integrating Service Now with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, CMDB, Monitoring Tools, HR Systems).
  • Deep knowledge of platform architecture, MID servers, ACLs, and service portal design.
  • Excellent customer skills, comfortable influencing senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Experience with Agile or Dev Ops methodologies.
  • Experience integrating external, non‑Service Now AI/ML capabilities with Service Now.
  • Familiarity with ITOM integrations with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Certification a plus.
Wage Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $
135,000 – $198,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
