Our client, a leader in chemical management and compliance, is seeking a dedicated Document Control Specialist to join their team. As a Document Control Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Chemical Records Management Department supporting compliance and data integrity initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Assist in data entry and cleanup of chemical records, including reassigning or removing duplicate materials and CAS records.
  • Maintain and update complex files or record systems, including SAP and other chemical management platforms.
  • Audit chemical records for completeness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support data extraction, documentation, and review processes for regulatory reporting.
  • Help with layout, formatting of data, and writing summary reports to support team objectives.
What's Needed?
  • Associate's degree in a science-related field is required;
    Chemistry-related degrees are preferred.
  • Some or all coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in an office setting, preferably in data management or chemical records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with data management systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
