Job Description & How to Apply Below

Sidelight is an AI-native vendor intelligence platform for financial services. We help asset managers and other financial institutions take control of their market data and vendor estate: what they buy, who uses it, what it costs and what the contracts say and how that impacts their business. After strong early client adoption, we are growing our implementation team to onboard new clients in the US.

The

role

This is a fully remote, US-based role. As Implementation Specialist, you will lead the hands-on work of getting new clients live on Sidelight. You will work with client market data, procurement and finance teams to gather, clean and load their inventory, contracts, invoices and user entitlements. You will configure the platform and make sure each client sees value quickly. You will work closely with our product and commercial teams, and you will use AI tools every day to work faster and more accurately.

It is an early-career role with real responsibility and plenty of room to grow. The role starts with a 90-day introductory period, giving you and us time to make sure it’s the right fit.

What you’ll do
  • Run client onboarding projects from kickoff to go-live, managing timelines, data requests and stakeholder updates
  • Collect and validate client data, including vendor contracts, invoices, inventories, and user and entitlement records, and map it into Sidelight
  • Use AI tools, including Sidelight’s own AI features, to extract, reconcile and check data from contracts and invoices
  • Configure client work spaces, reporting and workflows
  • Train client users across market data, procurement, finance and business teams
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend practical fixes
  • Pass client insight back to the product team to improve onboarding and features
  • Help build and refine our implementation playbooks and guides
What you’ll bring
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in market data, vendor management or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with TRG Screen or Calero market data management products, either working for one of those firms or using their products client-side, currently or within the last few years
  • Experience working in, or servicing, asset management firms
  • A broad understanding of the market data landscape: the major vendors and exchanges, how data is licensed and invoiced, and the needs of the teams who use and pay for it (investment, operations, compliance, procurement and finance)
  • Confident, practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot in day-to-day work
  • Strong technical aptitude: comfortable with large spreadsheets, data mapping and cleansing, and quick to learn new software. Coding experience is not required.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, and the organisation to run several client projects at once while working remotely
  • Ability to work US Eastern Time business hours
  • Authorization to work in the United States. Sidelight is unable to sponsor visas for this role.
Nice to have
  • Exposure to inventory or entitlement reconciliation, or exchange reporting and audits
What we offer
  • Annual performance bonus of up to 30% of base salary (total cash compensation of up to $97,500), pro-rated in the first year
  • Equity consideration
  • 20 days’ paid time off, health insurance and a 401(k) plan
  • Fully remote within the United States
  • An early role in a fast-growing, AI-native company, with real responsibility and close contact with clients and the founding team
