Project Manager with Service Management background

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in IT Service Management to support delivery within a complex technology environment. The successful candidate will combine project management expertise with an understanding of service operations, service improvement and operational change.

• Manage project delivery, ensuring milestones, deliverables and objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate technical teams, service owners and business stakeholders.
• Lead service improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational change.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve delivery challenges, escalating risks where appropriate.
• Ensure project activities align with service management processes and operational requirements.
• Support transition into live service, ensuring appropriate handover and operational readiness.
• Monitor delivery outcomes and identify opportunities to improve service performance

• Proven project management experience within an IT or technology environment.
• Strong IT Service Management background, including service delivery, change management or continual service improvement.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder relationships.
• Understanding of service transition and operational readiness.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• SFIA Level 5 capability.
• Active NCA SC+ security clearance.

The role is primarily virtual, with occasional travel to customer sites as required.
