The OpportunityWe are supporting a global industrial organisation preparing for a large-scale international payroll and Time & Attendance transformation programme.
We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Time & Attendance Project Manager to lead the US country workstream, with potential responsibility for Canada.
The successful consultant will take ownership of country-level delivery, coordinating local payroll, HR, IT, finance teams and external implementation partners to ensure a successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the US payroll and Time & Attendance implementation workstream.
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate stakeholders across HR, payroll, finance, IT and external vendors.
- Oversee payroll data migration, system integrations, testing and validation.
- Coordinate parallel-payroll runs and reconciliation activities.
- Manage country-level cutover, go-live readiness and hypercare.
- Maintain project governance, reporting and RAID logs.
- Ensure alignment with the wider global payroll transformation programme.
- Proven experience managing large-scale US payroll implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and Time & Attendance systems and processes.
- Experience delivering projects involving payroll data migration, integrations, testing and cutover.
- Strong stakeholder management and project governance capabilities.
- Experience working within international or multi-country programmes.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and external implementation partners.
- Based in the USA or Canada, with availability to support US working hours.
- Experience implementing UKG, ADP, Paylocity, Paychex or Paycor.
- Canadian payroll transformation experience.
- SAP Success Factors Employee Central integration experience.
- Experience delivering multi-entity payroll implementations.
- Manufacturing or industrial-sector experience.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
