Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent, proactive, and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, foster strong relationships with clients, and ensure their needs are met with tailored insurance solutions. You will work collaboratively with our sales, underwriting, and claims teams to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Assess clients' business needs and risks to make informed recommendations on suitable insurance solutions.
• Review and process policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly, addressing any concerns regarding coverage, policy details, or claims.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including sales representatives, underwriters, and claims specialists, to deliver seamless service to clients.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships through cross‑selling or upselling additional products and services.
• Stay informed about trends, regulations, and updates within the commercial insurance industry.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding client requirements, ensuring timely resolution of all account activities.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive account records in the agency management system.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an account management role, within the commercial insurance industry.
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and build trust across a diverse client base.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance agency management systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills with a customer‑centered approach to service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling large or complex commercial accounts.
• Industry certifications such as CIC, CPCU, or CRM.
