- Preform before the order drops allowing errors to be corrected.
- Fix negative balances, and items that are ordering and decrementing incorrectly. May require a ticket.
Provide education to staff on human errors. - Find decimals created from waste not documented correctly in the IV room or other locations; use reports to find MRN numbers.
- Restock shelves from overstock.
- Maintain non-formulary items: keep 0 balance items removed from inventory.
- Ensure overstock has no 0 balance items; remove them similarly.
- Preform before the order drops allowing errors to be corrected.
- Check expiration dates during counts (60 days from cycle day).
- Run RX Inventory Balance Change report to identify items off during Cycle Count and make corrections.
- Check 503B products for short, dated items that may outdate faster than 60‑day window.
- Receive ABC orders in EPIC inventory: scan each item for lot number and expiration.
- Verify pricing matches.
- Match invoices with items received.
- Put order away in Central pharmacy and rotate stock.
- Scan new products in PROD; an email is sent when a new NDC is purchased.
- Receive FED EX and UPS items (Directs, 503B items, ALT DC items) in EPIC upon arrival.
- Add notes to invoice and PO requested by the 340B team and buyers.
- Assist buyers as needed; provide cross coverage on project days.
- Help review backorders or substitutes.
- Omni cycle count once a month with Vaccine Coordinator; coordinate after completion.
- Verify temperature monitor, lots against packing slip, and receive in IRIS system.
- Assist with pulling and transferring Omni runs to Fruitland or Neurology.
- Attend daily moment; share improvement opportunities.
- Box up Inmar returns.
- Review monthly cycle count numbers from EPIC, identify improvements.
- Process IDB rotate with buyer.
- Run "yearly" inventory reports in EPIC, find zero numbers and troubleshoot errors; fix dollar amounts.
- Identify medications with no utilization and adjust PARS. Return products to Cencora.
- Collaborate with site buyer on returns and new P&T items.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
3 years’ experience. - Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Pharmacy Technician Registration in state of practice.
