Vice President Clinical Operations

VP Clinical Operations | Remote (East Coast Preferred) | Full-time | Oncology - Small Biotech

I am currently partnered with a growing oncology biotech seeking a VP, Clinical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a growing global clinical pipeline.

This is a key leadership hire with significant visibility across the organization, offering the opportunity to shape the Clinical Operations function, work closely with senior leadership, and drive the execution of late-stage oncology programs.

• Lead global Clinical Operations strategy and execution across multiple programs
• Oversee clinical trials from study start-up through completion
• Build, develop and lead a high-performing Clinical Operations team
• Provide oversight of CROs, vendors, sites and external partners
• Partner closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC and other cross-functional teams
• Work closely with executive leadership to support broader clinical development strategy
• Drive operational excellence as the company progresses its pipeline

• 12+ years of clinical research/operations experience within biotech or pharma
• Strong Phase II/III and global clinical trial experience
• Previous VP, Senior Director, or equivalent Clinical Operations leadership experience
• Experience building teams and operating within a growing biotech environment
• Strong CRO/vendor management and cross-functional leadership experience

• High-impact leadership position within a growing oncology biotech
