Production Supervisor

We’re seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on the fabrication floor of a modern beef processing facility

As the Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee operations across chuck, rib, loin, and packaging areas
, ensuring consistent execution of production schedules while maintaining compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards. You’ll coach and develop front-line employees, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in building a positive, performance-driven culture.

• Leadership on the Floor: Direct and support a team of 40+ hourly employees on the fabrication floor to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

• Beef Fabrication Expertise: Oversee daily cutting, trimming, and packaging operations while ensuring compliance with USDA and customer specifications.

• Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance metrics, identify process bottlenecks, and implement improvements to drive yield and throughput.

• Collaborative Culture: Partner with maintenance, quality, and plant management to resolve challenges, improve uptime, and sustain operational excellence.

• Oversee fabrication line performance and ensure production meets yield and throughput targets.

• Enforce safety programs and conduct regular audits to maintain a proactive, safety-first culture.

• Partner with QA and USDA inspectors to ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate clearly across departments and shifts to coordinate production goals and resources.

• Monitor and report on key metrics such as yield, downtime, labor utilization, and waste.

• Drive engagement by recognizing achievements and creating opportunities for employee growth.

• Support the development of Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives on the fabrication floor.

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in meat or food manufacturing (beef fabrication strongly preferred).

• Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse production teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of beef fabrication, trimming, and packaging operations

• Working knowledge of GMPs, USDA regulations, and food safety programs (HACCP, SQF, etc.).

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
