Elwood Staffing has identified a fraud scheme where impersonators pose as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with unrelated opportunities. This scam uses phone, Whats App and email to ask for payments for a computer, background check and other fake costs.

Elwood Staffing is urgently hiring a Lumber Production Assistant in Boise,  this role you will help load, stack, and run equipment to keep production moving in a fast‑paced environment. This position is ideal for hands‑on workers who enjoy teamwork and getting the job done.

• Temp‑to‑Hire position
• $16.00 /hour
• Full‑time work available
• First shift:
  Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm
• Load/unload, stack, and handle wood planks/lumber materials around the yard or production floor.
• Run basic machines and equipment (conveyors/production equipment/material handling equipment).
• Check lumber for quality and sort out damaged or wrong‑sized pieces.
• Help keep the production line running smoothly.
• Keep your work area clean and follow safety rules.
• Work with your crew and supervisors to meet daily goals.

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a material/lumber yard environment is preferred but not required. You must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy lumber and materials (often up to 50 lbs). You should be able to stand/walk throughout the entire shift, work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, and have a strong work ethic and team‑player mentality.
