Senior Director, Thought Leader Liaison Lead

Senior Director, Thought Leader Liaison Lead, responsible for establishing and leading Amylyx’s national thought leader engagement and regional marketing functions within the commercial team. Objectives include building the TLL infrastructure, developing a field-based team, and executing strategic KOL identification, segmentation, and engagement plans.

• Designing and implementing the TLL strategy
• Overseeing KOL mapping
• Managing advisory boards and congress activities
• Aligning regional marketing efforts with brand and compliance standards
• Collaboration across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Leadership to ensure insights-driven, compliant engagement activities

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in pharma/biotech commercial roles, including at least 5 years in thought leader engagement, sales, or marketing leadership.
• Deep knowledge of KOL engagement practices, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven success in leading customer-facing field teams, preferably in rare or complex diseases, with strong communication and relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50% within the U.S. and ability to operate remotely with reliable technology.

• Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD) and endocrinology experience.
• Focus on rare diseases (post-bariatric hypoglycemia, Wolfram syndrome, ALS), strategic thought leader engagement, compliance adherence, and cross-functional partnership.

Remote within the U.S., with periodic travel to Cambridge, MA.
