The Senior Donor Communications Officer is a senior strategic partner who helps shape donor communications for TNC’s Latin America Region and ensures priority conservation and fundraising efforts are translated into clear, compelling, donor-centered narratives. The role provides high-level counsel, continuity, and multilingual communications leadership for major and principal gift audiences.

We’re Looking for You:

The Senior Donor Communications Officer helps shape and implement donor communications strategy for the Latin America Region, Country Business Units and Iconic Places, serving as a senior support to the Director of Donor Communications, Development colleagues, conservation teams, and regional leadership.

The Officer leads complex, high-priority, and multi-country initiatives from strategy through delivery: assessing needs, clarifying objectives and audiences, recommending narrative and positioning approaches, aligning stakeholders, and overseeing execution, review, and evaluation.

The position advises stakeholders on communicating TNC’s conservation strategies, results, funding needs, and institutional priorities to philanthropic audiences, using independent judgment to resolve messaging challenges, reconcile competing input, and protect donor relevance, accuracy, cultural fit, and strategic alignment.
