Dexerto is a leading digital media and entertainment company reaching more than 100 million fans every month across gaming, creators, entertainment, esports, technology and internet culture.
We've built an enormous consumer audience. Now we're looking for someone to help ensure the business behind that audience has an equally strong profile within the media, advertising and entertainment industries.
We're hiring a Marketing Manager to lead that effort.
The RoleThis is a new role at Dexerto with a simple but ambitious objective: raise the profile of Dexerto within the industry and strengthen how we are perceived by clients, agencies, partners, peers and competitors.
We're looking for someone who understands B2B marketing and knows how to make a business visible, relevant and talked about.
You'll develop and deliver activity across Dexerto's corporate channels, our founders' and senior leaders' profiles, industry thought leadership, awards, events and PR opportunities.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a fully developed marketing calendar to execute. We need someone who will create it.
You'll need to be naturally proactive - spotting opportunities, generating ideas, identifying conversations Dexerto should be part of and working with our founders and wider team to turn those opportunities into activity.
You'll work particularly closely with Dexerto's founder board and our client-facing Integrated Marketing team, helping connect what we do commercially with how we present ourselves to the wider industry.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own Dexerto's B2B marketing strategy, developing a clear programme of activity designed to increase our visibility and reputation across the media, advertising, gaming, creator and entertainment industries.
- Ghostwrite and develop executive content, turning ideas, conversations and business insight into credible, engaging posts and commentary.
- Put Dexerto into relevant industry conversations, reacting quickly to developments across digital media, gaming, creators, advertising and entertainment with timely commentary and points of view.
- Own our industry awards strategy, building and managing an annual awards calendar, identifying the awards and categories that matter to Dexerto and our clients, and coordinating compelling submissions.
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, panels, podcasts, interviews, round tables and industry commentary for our founders and leadership team.
- Work with the Integrated Marketing and Commercial teams to turn successful campaigns, partnerships and insights into B2B stories and case studies.
- Develop thought leadership that demonstrates Dexerto's understanding of audiences, internet culture, gaming, creators and the changing digital media landscape.
- Build relationships with relevant journalists, industry organisations, event organisers and other influential voices.
- Support Dexerto's presence at key industry events and identify opportunities for the business and leadership team to participate.
- Ensure Dexerto's corporate website and professional-facing channels accurately communicate who we are, what we do and why brands should work with us.
- Track activity and performance, looking beyond basic engagement metrics to understand whether our marketing is genuinely improving awareness, credibility and industry perception.
You'll already have experience in a B2B marketing, corporate marketing, communications, PR or brand role, ideally within digital media, advertising, technology, entertainment or a related industry.
More importantly, you'll understand how businesses build a reputation within their industry.
You should have:- Proven experience developing and delivering B2B marketing activity.
- Experience growing the profile of a company, brand or leadership team within a professional audience.
- Strong knowledge of B2B communications and thought-leadership platform.
- Experience working with senior leaders, founders or executives to develop their external profiles.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to capture someone else's tone of voice.
- Experience identifying and developing thought-leadership opportunities.
- Knowledge of industry awards and ideally experience managing award submissions and awards calendars.
- Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how brand reputation can support sales, partnerships and business development.
- The ability to turn business activity, data and ideas into interesting external stories.
- Excellent…
