Typical Day

As an RN in this role, your typical day includes a variety of responsibilities, including treadmill stress tests, administering medication, triaging cardiac patients, educating patients and scheduling cardiac procedures. RN's are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.

Schedule

4 10 hr shifts or 5 8 hr shifts

• Clinic open M-F 8-5

General Requirements

• Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Education

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.

License/Certification

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 months.
