Temporary - Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA - Veterans Services
The Idaho Division of Veterans Services is recruiting for a pool of temporary, part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support our dedicated team of health care professionals at the State Veterans Home in Boise.
If you are a CNA looking for one, two or three shifts per week, we can work with your schedule. We offer 8-hour shifts and currently have openings for all shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Performs personal nursing care for elderly residents.
- Determines resident needs and takes and records vital signs.
- Provides personal hygiene care and maintains a safe and sanitary resident-care environment.
- Lifts, positions, transports, and escorts residents and assists with walking and other body movements.
- Feeds residents who require assistance and implements individual resident treatment plans as outlined by supervisor.
- Records resident care, reporting changes in physical or mental status to health-care team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Certification and
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification in Idaho and listed in good standings on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry, OR Completion Of a State-approved Nurse Aide Training Or Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) And Eligible For Placement On The State Nurse Aide Registry.
Clearance:
The Idaho Division of Veterans Services requires applicants to pass a criminal history background investigation after a conditional offer of employment.
