DescriptionSaint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2025, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho
. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I‑184 and Curtis Rd.
Schedule:
Night shift or a rotating schedule, available in 2‑week or 6‑week rotations.

Working in our 10‑bed Cardiovascular ICU offers a unique chance to build strong relationships in a supportive team while specializing in a highly sought‑after field. WhatTo Expect
- Work in a 10‑bed unit with advanced technology and a highly skilled team, specializing in major cardiac surgeries and complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Care for patients recovering from intricate cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve surgery, and aortic surgery.
- Deliver specialized care with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to patient‑centered approaches in our state‑of‑the‑art intensive care unit.
- Administer medications and perform essential procedures to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and support to enhance health and wellness.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
- Contribute to a tight‑knit team with strong leadership, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Idaho or multi‑state RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
- BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
