We are currently hiring for a Part-Time (0.5 FTE) Registered Nurse for Breast Care Services.
What You Can ExpectThe BCS RN is an emotional support and comfort to patients in difficult times and helps calm their fears.
Day‑to‑day duties include:
- Coordinate pre‑procedure calls, prepare patient charts, and relay key information to the Breast Care Services team.
- Review pathology reports and forward relevant details to the Radiologist.
- Provide guidance and support to patients during breast imaging procedures.
- Teach and follow up with patients on discharge instructions after procedures.
- Assist with biopsies, aspirations, and pre‑surgery procedures using ultrasound, mammogram, and MRI.
- Help with opening devices, patient positioning, bandaging biopsy sites, and educating patients on post‑procedure breast care.
- Other RN duties as assigned.
Variable shifts per week, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor's of Nursing Degree. - Experience:
1 year of experience. - Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
