As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for guests in our lobby/lounge area. You will be responsible for crafting a diverse range of beverages, providing attentive service, and fostering a memorable experience for patrons.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to standard recipes and guest preferences.

Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing menu recommendations, taking orders accurately, and delivering beverages promptly to enhance their lounge experience. This includes lounge table service and at the bar.

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tops, equipment, and storage areas, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold the venue's cleanliness standards.

Monitor guest alcohol consumption, identifying signs of intoxication, and taking appropriate steps to ensure responsible service and guest safety.

Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests, anticipating their needs, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.

Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and seamless service for guests enjoying both lounge and dining experiences.

Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, processing payments, issuing receipts, and reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift.

Assist in inventory management tasks, such as restocking supplies, conducting regular stock counts, and placing orders to maintain adequate inventory levels and minimize waste.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, contributing to a positive work environment and upholding the venue's reputation for excellence.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a bartender in a lounge, bar, or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of beverage ingredients, preparation techniques, and presentation styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
Ability to work efficiently with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet guest needs and ensure a smooth service flow.
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, Serv Safe) mandatory.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
A passion for hospitality and a dedication to providing exceptional service to every guest.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods standing, walking, and preparing drinks.

Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Must be legal drinking age or older.
